I'm never happier than then, when, it's raining out and we're driving and it's completely dark and, when, we can't see anything in front of us and the radio's nothing but fuzz and we'd put something in the tape deck, then, only that mixtape your ex-boyfriend made you is still stuck in there and I think there's some good stuff on it, but, when, you say the order of the songs is perfect and it makes you think of January and January makes you cry so all we have is the radio fuzzing and the rain slamming so loud you think maybe, then, it's turned to hail and you're hanging onto the wheel so tight like it's wood and we're at sea and I say "it's not that hard to steer, you have power steering," and you tell me to shut up! And that's when I'm never happier, when then, in your tiny little foreign-make car with the hurricane wind about to blow us over, a country, and, a country road in the middle of the country in the middle of nowhere, in this terrible weather with no music and no heat and no conversation, that's when, that is when I am the happiest of all.
